In the recent events, the player Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas was found to have violated the rules on sexual harassment and discrimination and denigration against LGBTQ Community and his co-players. Following the news, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines fined several sanctions as repercussion from his homophobic remarks while on stream.
Kelra’s Sanctions
With the committed offenses, the player will undergo 2 week suspension and a warning to him and to his team, Omega Esports, as sanction for his disrespectful remarks.
Public Apology
Following this, Kelra issued a public apology for his homophobic remarks to his co-players from Blacklist International Jhonmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Rosario: “Taos puso po akong humihingi ng tawad at pasensya sa lahat ng taong naapektuhan at nasakan sa aking mga nasabi” says the 16yr old Player Kelra.
