Earlier this year, the much anticipated remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, both launched on 2006 exclusively as Nintendo DS Titles, are finally announced during Nintendo E3 2021! Fan’s anticipation is finally over.
With the announcement of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl last February 2021, players can soon relive their younger years as they embark again on a journey to the vast region of Sinnoh. Players are set to encounter Generation IV native Pokémons, completing their Pokedex, and building their own team. The fun and nostalgia doesn’t just end here, they will also be battling the Elite Four and the Sinnoh’s Pokémon League Champion herself, Cynthia. Players are also to destroy the region villain’s evil schemes – none other than the Team Galactic, and obtain the opportunity to catch the Legendary and the Mythical Pokémon (and even the Pokémon God, Arceus) of the region as they progress on the story of the game.

As the Pokémon company puts it, these games will be a “colorfully revitalized” version of the former and will have its feature and functionalities enhanced, aiming to catch the attention of fans, old and new alike.
According to Nintendo E3 2021, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is set to launch on November 19 later this year, along with two more titles, Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Snap.
With the release just around the corner, will you be pre-ordering these games? Are you excited for the new features and the enhanced play-through? Stay tuned for more updates!
